The Mental Health Support Sessions

The Mental Health Support Sessions have been designed to equip everyday people to better support their family, friends, coworkers, and peers who experience common mental health struggles. Each session will be 2 hours in length.

Thursday, October 10th from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
📍 The Two Twenty, 220 20th Street W, Saskatoon, SK

This 2-hour session is for everyday people to better understand what anxiety is, why it happens, and how to support someone who struggles with it. Every participant will be given a customized, colourful cue card summarizing the key points of the session.

Learn:

  • The difference between “everyday” anxiety and anxiety disorders.

  • Who is more likely to develop an anxiety disorder.

  • What happens in our bodies when we are anxious.

  • Signs that someone may be experiencing an anxiety disorder.

  • Practical skills and strategies for helping someone who is anxious.
